A partner at CurbyMcLintock led engagements for banks operating across multiple jurisdictions, including developing countries, to assess fraud and corruption risks across their operations. Projects included, where relevant, tracing specific transaction types from front office-office activities to back-office processing. Jurisdictions included Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and countries across Europe. Recommendations were provided to address identified risks through both immediate remedial actions and longer-term strategic improvements, working closely with the banks’ respective Operational Risk Functions.
