Julian Claxton is a counterespionage and behavioural threat assessment specialist with more than thirty years of experience supporting government, defence, critical infrastructure, and corporate clients.

He advises on matters involving insider misconduct, fraud related exposure, executive threat, suspected information compromise, and organisational vulnerability. His work integrates behavioural analysis, structured threat assessment, and security risk review within a defensible investigative framework.

Julian directs technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) engagements delivered by his specialist team to identify covert recording devices, unauthorised transmission pathways, and surveillance exposure risks. He also undertakes facility and organisational vulnerability assessments examining physical environments, access controls, and operational practices.

In investigative contexts, he conducts structured behavioural and linguistic analysis of communications, complaints, and threat material to assess credibility, escalation trajectory, and intent. His advice is framed for executive, legal, and regulatory scrutiny.

He holds a Master of Science in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis, a Diploma in Security and Risk Management, and qualifications in Government Investigations. He has completed advanced professional training across behavioural analysis, statement analysis, deception assessment, and investigative interviewing disciplines.

Engaged following anonymous death threats against a senior executive. Undertook behavioural and forensic linguistic analysis to identify the author, assess intent and exposure risks, and deliver a formal risk categorisation and mitigation framework enabling proportionate protective measures and informed liaison with authorities.

Engaged following concerns of information compromise within an executive tenancy. Directed a technical surveillance countermeasures inspection that identified concealed surveillance components, with structured evidentiary reporting supporting law enforcement referral and internal control enhancements.

Engaged to investigate persistent leakage of confidential project material. While no electronic surveillance was identified, behavioural and access pattern analysis uncovered contractor misconduct, enabling strengthened document controls and cessation of the leakage.

Provided recurring countersurveillance assurance during construction of a sensitive facility. Periodic TSCM inspections and behavioural risk observations identified elevated insider risk indicators among subcontractors, enabling targeted role adjustments and enhanced supervision.
